• As a foster parent for almost 12 years now, I connected with so many things in this book! I also learned some ideas to try and felt so encouraged reading it! I love that Trish shows she is real and vulnerable and human as well as a trained therapist who has many tools and ideas on parenting children with a lot of trauma. There are lots of tips and insight for anyone considering foster care, foster parents, and especially anyone who may know someone who is a foster parent. I know I always wish I had more support and people who understood or tried to understand what we do and why we do it. It is a calling for many of us. A Call to Love❤️
