• I have a 8 year boy who doesn't like to read chapter books that often. So after reading some of the pages in the "Look inside" the character Miami Jackson actually reminded me of my son. I want him to be able to develop a strong sense of identity, and I feel the first step is by seeing and reading more about little boys his age. I don't regret the purchase. I actually enjoyed it myself.

  Miami Jackson, (Micheal Andrew Jackson) is a very likeable, funny, and charming young man who has a best friend, String and a worst enemy, Destinee Tate.
  
  The situations Miami finds himself in are fresh and realistic and he always learns an important social lesson.
• My son loves this book. He's African-American and I think it's important for him to read books with African-American boys who look like him.
• The books arrived in no time. My 8 year old son loves this one. He has not gotten to the others yet but I'm sure he will love the others as well!
